What is a 9-Box Grid?
A 9-Box grid is a way of visualizing employees' performance and potential in a graph. Usually, the X axis is performance and the Y axis is potential, though there can be some variations in how to name it. It is very useful to make decisions.
Where to find the 9-Box Grid?
❗To access the 9-box grid, you need to install and set up the Competencies feature for your company. The 9-box grid is only available to admins and managers with direct reports
⚠️ To generate data on the 9-box grid, you need to have a published assessment for the users in question.
- On your sidebar, click on Performance
- Click on Competencies
- Press on 9 Box Grid
How to add employees to the 9-Box Grid?
To add employees to the 9-Box Grid:
- On your sidebar, click on Performance
- Click on Competencies
- Press on 9 Box Grid
- Select the employees
- Press Select user(s)
It is possible to use the filter in order to filter the employees by:
- Employees
- Workplaces
- Team
How to modify the axes and add competencies to the axes?
To modify the axes:
- Go to X axis name or Y axis name
- Apply the changes
To add/delete competencies to the axes:
- To add competencies:
- Click on Add competencies
- Select the competencies
- To delete competencies:
- Go to the competency of your choice
- Press on X
