Configuring Security Settings

Inside this tab you will find:

  • Single Sign-On (SSO)

Single Sign-On is a convenient authentication method that enables your employees to access multiple applications or systems using a single set of login credentials. It eliminates the need for remembering multiple usernames and passwords, allowing seamless navigation between different systems.

  • Authentication

Authentication methods ensure that only authorized users gain entry. From Factorial, we provide all users with the option to enable multifactor authentication. In addition, you can require all users in your company to enable multifactor authentication.

To set up Single Sign-On (SSO):

  1. In the Security Settings tab, find the "Single Sign-On" section
  2. Switch on the Enable Single Sign On (SSO) toggle

To enforce Multi-Factor Authentication for all users in your company:

  1. Locate the Authentication section in the Security Settings tab
  2. Switch on the Require all employees to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) toggle

To enable password rotation:

  1. Locate the Password rotation section in the Security Settings tab
  2. Switch on the Rotate password toggle
  3. You can choose between a 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 days rotation
  4. Hit Save changes

When activated, users with expired passwords will be guided through a simple password change process before gaining access. This contributes to a robust and secure system.
