Previously, project managers faced significant challenges due to the lack of a centralized view of contributors and their time allocation.
The new Contributors tab solves these challenges by providing a centralized and detailed view of contributors within projects. With controlled visibility based on user permissions, project managers can now:

Access a detailed list of assigned contributors:
- Quickly view all contributors working on their projects.

Gain deeper insights into contributors' workloads:
- Navigate to each contributor’s "My Projects" view to see their assigned projects and how their hours are allocated across them.
 
 - 
Analyze labor costs:
- For project owners (and when the labor costs feature is enabled), view the Cost History of employees to track budget usage.
 
 - 
Access tracked hours:
- View the table where employees log their project hours for detailed insights into their contributions.
 
 
How It Works
1. New contributors tab
- A new Contributors tab has been added to the general view of Projects.
 - This tab provides project managers with a centralized overview of all contributors assigned to their projects.
 
2. Controlled visibility
- Access to the Contributors tab is restricted based on user permissions to ensure data security and relevance:
- Admins
 - Project Owners
 - Project Editors
 - Users with fully enabled permission groups
 
 
3. Key features of the Contributors tab
- Contributor list: A comprehensive list of contributors assigned to each project.
 - My Projects navigation: Ability to navigate directly to a contributor’s "My Projects" view for a detailed breakdown of their assigned projects and time allocation.
 - Cost history (Optional): For project owners with labor costs enabled, view each employee’s cost history.
 - Hour tracking: Access the detailed table of hours logged by employees for each project
