Managing Tasks in Projects: List View & Kanban View

Learn efficient methods for managing tasks in projects using a list view to improve organization and productivity.

In the Project Management Tool, tasks help you keep track of work progress, assign responsibilities, and organize workflows efficiently. With the introduction of the Kanban View, managing tasks has become even more intuitive and visual.

Now, you can choose between:

  • List View – A structured table layout to quickly see task details in a sortable format.
  • Kanban View – A drag-and-drop board that visually organizes tasks by status.

Task Management in List View

The List View provides a detailed table format where users can:

  • View all tasks in a structured list.
  • Filter tasks by status.
  • Check the status of each task (To do, In Progress, Done, Discarded).
  • See who is assigned to each task.
  • Monitor due dates and completion dates for better tracking.

How to Access the List View:

  1. In your sidebar navigate to Projects and Select a Project
  2. Click on the Tasks tab
  3. Ensure the "Table" view is selected

Task Management in Kanban View

The Kanban View is a more visual and flexible way to manage project tasks. It allows users to:

  • Drag & Drop Tasks across different stages (To do, In Progress, Done, Discarded).
  • Get a quick overview of progress and bottlenecks.
  • Assign tasks to team members directly from the board.
  • Filter tasks by assignee, subprojects, or deadlines.

How to Access the Kanban View:

  1. In your sidebar go to Projects and Select a Project
  2. Click on the Tasks tab
