Team Status Widget

The Team Status widget on the dashboard gives a real-time overview of which employees are currently clocked in, out, or missing their scheduled start. This helps HR teams and managers track daily attendance at a glance.

The widget is especially useful for identifying employees who are:

  • Currently working (clocked in)
  • Out of the office (not clocked in)
  • Late (missed clock-in)

How to Use

  1. In your sidebar, go to the Dashboard
  2. Locate the Clock-in Widget
  3. Review the employee statuses:
    1. Clocked In: The employee is actively working.
    2. Not in the Office: The employee has not clocked in or does not have a fixed schedule.
    3. Missed Clock-In: The employee has not clocked in and was expected to do so based on their schedule
  4. Click on the employee's name to view their clock-in history for the day

Displaying the “Missed Clock-In” Status

The “missed clock-in” status is only shown for employees who are assigned to Fixed Schedules or Shift Management in their time planning settings. If employees use Flexible Schedules, the system does not know when they are supposed to start work, so it cannot determine whether they missed a clock-in. In this case, the status will simply show as “Not in the office.”

To show “missed clock-in” status:

  1. In your sidebar, go to Organisation
  2. Open the employee’s profile
  3. Open the Time Planning settings
  4. Change the planning tool to Fixed Schedules or Shift Management
  5. Save the changes

2. How can I enable the “missed clock-in” status?

Assign the employee to a Fixed Schedule or Shift Management in their time planning settings.

3. Does the widget update automatically?

Yes, but you can refresh the dashboard manually for the latest status.
