The new Multiportal Integration in Factorial makes it easier to publish job openings across multiple platforms. Whether you are a new customer or an existing one, this integration is designed to help streamline your recruitment process. Below is a detailed guide on how it works.
1. If You’re New to Factorial
If you are a new customer, you’ll automatically start using the new Multiportal Integration. There is no action required on your part. You can enjoy the benefits of easier and unlimited job publishing right away.
2. If You’re an Existing Customer Using Join Integration
For existing customers who are currently using the old job posting integration, don’t worry. We’ll be migrating your account to the new system soon. Here’s what to expect:
- No data will be lost: All your job openings, applications, and candidates are already stored in Factorial.
- Deactivation of the Old Integration: The old integration will be deactivated, and the new one will be activated at the same time.
- Job Applications: You will continue receiving applications for jobs that have already been posted.
- Job Visibility: Your job posts will remain visible across the same portals as before.
What You Need to Do
There is just one simple step required to activate the new integration, whether you are a new or existing user:
- In your sidebar, go to Settings → Recruitment
- Click on the "Processes" tab
- Accept the updated Terms and Conditions to activate the new integration
Once you accept the terms, your job postings will be automatically published to more than 30 job portals (depending on your country), and you’ll be able to manage all your job listings from one place.
External Profiles
After activating the new integration, you will also have access to additional job board integrations, known as external profiles. These require some extra configuration:
-
External Profiles Availability: The availability of these profiles depends on the country of your company.
- Indeed: Active by default. This profile can be manually deactivated if needed.
- LinkedIn: This profile functions similarly to the previous limited listing integration, which will soon be deprecated. Once you activate the LinkedIn integration, jobs published through the old integration will be unpublished and managed under the new system.
LinkedIn Integration
If you activate the LinkedIn integration:
- The old limited listing integration will automatically be deactivated.
- Jobs that were previously published on LinkedIn through the old integration will be unpublished. This may take up to 24 hours.
- New jobs posted via the new LinkedIn integration will be automatically published. This process may also take up to 24 hours.
- Please note that previous LinkedIn history, such as applicant counts, will be lost because jobs will now be published through a different XML feed.
Standard Portals Listing
Once the new integration is activated, a new tab called "Standard Job Portals" will appear on the job page. This tab shows:
- The free and default job portals available for each job, depending on the job's location or country.
- Any external profiles that have been configured.
- A counter displaying how many applicants were sourced from each portal.
