Project favorites and filters
The Problem: A tedious weekly task
Before this update, employees had to manually select the projects they would work on each week. This repetitive process was especially frustrating for those who rarely changed projects, as they had to re-add the same projects and subprojects week after week.
The Benefits: A faster and easier solution
With this update, employees can now log time more efficiently using two new features:
- Mark Projects as Favorites: Save frequently used projects to easily access them week after week without re-selecting them.
- "Last week's Projects" filter: Quickly view and log time for the projects you worked on in the previous week.
These improvements simplify the time tracking process, saving valuable time and effort.
How It Works: The solution in detail
1. Marking Projects as Favorites
- Employees can now mark projects and subprojects as favorites.
- Once marked, these favorites remain saved across weeks until the employee decides to unmark them.
2. New Filters in the Time Tracking table
We’ve added two filters to help employees log their time more efficiently:
- Favorites filter: Displays all projects and subprojects marked as favorites, making them easily accessible.
- Last Week’s Projects filter: Displays all projects on which time was logged during the previous week, allowing employees to quickly find and select recurring projects.
