Permissions
You need to activate the permission to enable managers, team leaders, or specific users to review and approve timesheets.
- On your sidebar, go to Settings
- In General, click on Permissions
- Select the Permission group
- Open Attendance
- Enable Review and approve timesheets
- Click on Save changes
Review and approve timesheets
- On your sidebar, go to Time tracking
- Select the period you want to approve
- Open Pending tab
- To view the clock's detail in each employee's section, click on the arrow located on the right side of each row.
- Add a ✔ to select your employees in bulk or select one by one
- Click on Approve timesheets
💡 You can view the hour distribution by positioning the cursor on the green and yellow color bars:
- Light green: the extra hours worked that day
- Dark green: the exact hours worked that day
- Yellow: less hours worked that day
Disapprove an approved timesheet
❗ Timesheets from a closed period that have been approved cannot be edited by the employee but can be unapproved by the manager or the admin.
- Head to the Approved tab
- Select the employees to whom you want to disapprove their timesheets.
- Click on the three dots located in the upper right corner
- Click on Disapprove timesheets
Notifications
Email notifications
Admins and managers will receive:
- An email at the beginning of the month if there are timesheets pending approval from previous months.
Employees will receive:
- An email by the end of the month if there are timesheets to be completed for that month.
- An email when their timesheets have been approved.
Dashboard pending tasks
Employees will receive:
- An alert every time there are shifts pending to be completed.
