Monitoring the end of an employee’s contract with customized notifications helps you stay organized and take timely action. In this article, you’ll learn how to set up personalized contract expiration alerts, so you and your team can manage renewals or offboarding smoothly.
How to set up the notification
- On your sidebar, go to Settings → Advanced configuration
- Access Custom Notification
- Create a New Custom Notification
- Choose the trigger Manual Action → When an employees' contract is terminated
- Save

Then you will have to set up the notification.

- Save the Notification
You can write a personalized message that will be included in the notification. For example:
"Today is the last day of [Name]’s contract. Please review their status and take the necessary next steps."
Also, you can choose who should receive the notification. You can select by role (e.g., Manager, Direct Reports), department, or specific individuals.

Always remember to enable the notification and save changes.
