Connecting Bank Accounts in Factorial

Learn how to connect your company’s bank account to Factorial to automate payments, reconciliations, and financial visibility.

Connect a bank account in Factorial

  1. On your sidebar, go to Treasury → Banks
  2. Click Add bank account
  3. Select Legal entity
  4. Select your bank from the list
  5. Log in with your online banking credentials
  6. Complete the security steps required by your bank (two-factor authentication, SMS, etc.
  7. Add the Basic information
    • Add Account alias, Account number format, Account number, Sort code and currency
  8. Assign a ledger account for the bank
  9. Select employees that will have access to see this account

Your bank account will now appear in Factorial, ready to use for payments and reconciliations.

 

 


 

What you can do after connecting a bank account

  • View balances and transactions without leaving Factorial. Factorial only uses read-only permissions for your bank accounts, so no operations can be executed
  • Reconcile supplier invoices with your bank data or automatically with our smart rules
  • Ensure secure access: bank login and authentication happen only through your bank’s secure system
