One allows employees and admins to ask questions about absence policies, team schedules, and time-related system settings directly in the One chat. The AI connects real data with the rules behind it, offering instant explanations in simple, human language.

How to use

  1. Go to One from your Factorial account
  2. Open the chat
  3. Ask a question in natural language, such as:
    • “Which absence policy applies to Maria for parental leave?”
    • “What is our bereavement leave policy?”
    • “Who am I working with on Friday?”
    • “How are our break rules configured?”
  4. Review the response provided by One, which is based on your company’s actual policies, schedules, and system settings
  5. If needed, ask follow-up questions to get more detail or clarification

If One gives a generic or incomplete answer, make sure the policy or configuration is fully set up in Factorial, or try rephrasing the question with more detail (for example, specify the absence type).

If One can’t answer a configuration question, it is because the feature is available for One beta users only and One may not yet recognise it. If the setting is very new or customised, check the configuration manually or contact support.

    This functionality is available to all One beta users. Access depends on your role and permissions in Factorial.

    No. One AI respects existing permission settings and only shows information users are allowed to see.

    Yes. Admins can ask about clock-in methods, break configurations, time categories, and more to quickly review how the system is set up.
