One helps you find the right communities within your organization quickly and efficiently. In this article, you will learn how to discover communities, understand their focus, and gain insights as a community administrator.


 

Overview

The Communities Discovery feature in One allows users to:

  • Easily find communities that match their interests or questions.
  • See basic membership information to understand the context of each community.
  • Help administrators get insights into community distribution and member counts.

 

When and why it should be used

Use this feature when you:

  • Need to ask questions or share knowledge in the most relevant community.
  • Want to discover communities you were not aware of.
  • Are a community administrator and want basic insights about participation and activity levels.

 

How to use

  1. Open One within Factorial
  2. Use the search bar to ask about the Communities
  3. Browse the list of communities suggested by One 
  4. Click on a community to view its description and membership information
  5. Join the community or post your question in the most relevant group
  6. For administrators: Access the Insights tab to view membership counts and distribution statistics
     

 

If you are unable to find a community, check that the keywords match community descriptions. If still not found, contact your admin to see if the community exists.
