How to Activate and Configure Employee Pulse

Overview

Employee Pulse is a simple engagement tool that allows you to gather regular insights about your team's mood and satisfaction. You can choose how often reminders are sent and customize the question to suit your organization’s culture.

Use Employee Pulse when you want to:

  • Monitor team well-being and engagement trends.
  • Encourage open and continuous feedback.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the work environment.
 

 


 

How to Use

  1. Go to the Engagement tab in the main menu
  2. Click Settings in the top-right corner
  3. Open the Employee Pulse section
  4. Toggle Activate Employee Pulse to enable the feature
    This allows employees to share their mood and feedback
  5. Click Save changes to confirm

To set Reminders

  1. Choose how often reminders appear:
    • Daily (recommended): Sent every workday
    • Custom: Select specific days of the week
  2. Click Save changes after setting your preferences

Choose the Question

  1. Select one of the default options:
    • “How was your day at work today?”
    • “How is your week going?”
    • Or, create a custom question that reflects your team’s goals and culture
  2. Save your changes to apply the selected question

 

Tips and Best Practices

  • Keep your Pulse question short and easy to answer to encourage participation.
  • Review Pulse results regularly to identify patterns or changes in employee sentiment.
  • Combine Pulse data with other engagement tools for deeper insights.
  • Communicate results transparently to build trust and encourage continued feedback.
 

 

Troubleshooting

  • Pulse is not appearing for employees:
    Ensure the Activate Employee Pulse toggle is turned on and settings have been saved.
  • Employees aren’t receiving reminders:
    Check your reminder frequency settings and confirm your team’s notification preferences are correctly configured.
  • Can’t save changes:
    Refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, contact the support team.
