Prerequisites
Do you already have ZKTeco devices?

- Device model
- Serial number
- Firmware version

- If you do not yet have devices, the Factorial team will put you in touch with an official distributor to help you acquire them.
Device compatibility
This integration is available only for ZKTeco devices connected to the ZKBioSecurity v5000 software.

Costs
Once the devices have been validated or purchased, contact your Account Manager to review a commercial proposal for the integration (the proposal covers only the API-based synchronization and does not include hardware purchase).
Subscription activation (integration)
After accepting the proposal:
To start the installation process, you must contact ZKTeco.
Send an email to Lara Chichon Adan at lara.chichon@zkteco.eu with the following information:
- Your contact email address
- Your phone number
- Company name
- Number of employees
- ZKTeco device models
ZKTeco will contact you within approximately 48 hours to create your subscription and grant you access to the portal.
ZKTeco will create your subscription using your company name and number of employees.
You must follow the official configuration guide to complete the setup here.
If you need help during the setup, you can hire consulting hours directly from ZKTeco.
Important notes
This integration requires physical terminals at your premises, making it ideal for teams working at fixed locations (offices, warehouses, retail, factories) and not suitable for fully remote teams.
It focuses on capturing and synchronizing biometric clock-in events and does not replace Factorial’s shift planning or absence approval workflows.
Devices can work temporarily offline and will automatically sync once the connection is restored.
