How to create an event in a community
Discover the step-by-step process of organizing a successful community event to bring people together and make a positive impact.
How to create an event
- In your dashboard, scroll down to Communities
- Choose the community where you want to publish the event
- Click the Write a post button
- Add a title and a description
- In Post settings, enable the toggle for This is an Event
- Add your event details:

Date and time – Select when the event will take place

Location - Where the event will take place
- Click on Continue at the upper right corner and Publish to make the event visible to your community

How events work
- Once published, events will appear in the community feed, just like posts.

- Community members can comment, react, and interact with the event if you select the option Allow comments and reactions.

- You can edit or delete your event at any time by clicking the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of the event.
