This article explains how perks are now available to all employees with a Spanish legal entity, and how companies can opt out if needed. You’ll learn how perks are displayed and how this change impacts employees and administrators.
Only available for Spanish legal entities.
Overview
Perks are now automatically available to all employees in Spain, regardless of whether their company has an active Benefits subscription. These perks are offered through partner agreements and are free to access.
Employees can view perks directly in the My Benefits section, either as part of the full Benefits experience or as a standalone perks view.
When and why it should be used
This functionality is useful when:
- You want to provide employees with access to additional benefits at no extra cost.
- Your company does not use the full Benefits module but still wants to offer perks.
- You want to enhance employee experience with partner offers.
Companies that prefer not to display perks can opt out through support.
How to use
For employees
- Go to My Benefits in the platform (web or mobile)
- Access the Perks section
- Browse available offers
- Select a perk to view more details and redeem it if applicable

For companies (opt-out process)
- Contact the support or Backoffice team
- Request to enable the opt-out for perks in Spain
- The team will activate the feature flag
benefits_perks_spain_disabled - Once enabled, perks will no longer be visible to employees with a Spanish legal entity
If employees cannot see perks, confirm the employee belongs to a Spanish legal entity, check if the company has opted out of perks and ensure the employee is accessing the My Benefits section.
If perks are visible but Benefits module is not active, this is expected. Perks are available independently of the Benefits subscription.
If HR admins cannot disable perks themselves, this is expected. The opt-out is currently managed by the support/Backoffice team.
Tips and best practices
- Inform employees about the availability of perks to increase adoption.
- Review perks periodically, as the catalog will expand with new partners.
- If perks are not relevant to your organisation, consider opting out to reduce noise.
- Remember that perks and the full Benefits module operate independently.
