You can send receipts, invoices, PDFs, photos, and other documents to One directly from your phone without opening the Factorial app first. This feature lets you share files from any app that supports your device's native Share option, making it faster to capture documents when you receive them.
Overview
The native Share feature allows you to send files to One directly from other apps on your mobile device. Whether you receive a receipt by email, download an invoice, or save a photo to your gallery, you can share it with One in just a few taps.
Use this feature when you want to:
- Upload receipts, invoices, or other work-related documents without manually searching for them in Factorial
- Send one or multiple files to One from another app
- Add instructions so One can help you complete a task, such as filing an expense
- Quickly review what One has identified before taking any action
How to use
- Open any app that contains the file you want to share (for example, Photos, Files, Mail, WhatsApp, or your browser)
- Tap your device's Share button
- Select Factorial from the list of available apps
- One opens with your selected files already attached
- Choose one of the following options:
- Add a message describing what you want One to do (for example, "File this as an expense")
- Or leave the message empty to let One analyse the files and provide a description
- Review the information and any proposed action
- Confirm before One completes the requested action

If you do not see Factorial in the Share menu, make sure the Factorial mobile app is installed on your device. If necessary, edit your device's Share menu and add Factorial to your available sharing options. If Factorial still doesn't appear, update the app to the latest available version.
This feature is only available for companies with One enabled. If you cannot use ONE after sharing a file, you'll see information about how to request it. If you're unsure whether your company has access, contact your administrator.
If your file was not uploaded, check that you're sharing a supported file type, such as a photo or PDF, try sharing fewer files if you've selected more than the maximum limit of 10 ad verify that your device has an internet connection.
