The Context sidepanel improves the performance review experience by bringing all relevant employee information into a single, unified space. With the addition of the Goals tab, you can now review goal progress without leaving the evaluation flow.

Available only for companies with Goals (subscription feature).

 

 

Overview

The Context sidepanel is a right-hand panel available within performance reviews that centralises key employee information. It includes multiple tabs such as Goals, Past reviews, Past courses, and Past feedbacks (if enabled).

The Goals tab allows you to view employee goals, including progress, status, and detailed key results, all within the same interface.

When and why it should be used

Use the Context Sidepanel during performance reviews to:

  • Access employee goals and track their progress in real time
  • Review past performance, training, and feedback without leaving the review
  • Reduce context switching and improve evaluation efficiency
  • Ensure more consistent and informed decision-making
 

 

How to use

  1. In your sidebar, go to Performance 
  2. Access the Reviews tab
  3. Open a review
  4. Select an employee 
  5. Select a review
  6. Open View context on the upper right corner
  7. Navigate through the available tabs:
    • Past reviews: Access previous evaluations
    • Past courses: Review completed training (if available)
    • Goals: View goals, progress bars, and status indicators (e.g., On track, At risk, Achieved)
    • Past Feedbacks: Check past feedback (if enabled)
  8. In the Goals tab:
    • Review progress visually through progress bars
    • Click the arrow at the upper right corner to expand

If the Goals tab is not visible, make sure your company has the Goals feature enabled.

Certain tabs, such as Past Feedbacks, depend on feature availability or permissions.

If no data appears in the Goals tab, it might be because no goals have been assigned to the employee.

  1. Do I need to enable the Context sidepanel?
    No, it is automatically available within performance reviews.

    If the training module is not included in your plan, you may see a message suggesting access to this feature.
