The recruitment pipeline defines the hiring stages for the job. All new candidates start in the New stage. The recommended minimum structure is an entry stage (New), where the call happens, and a next stage (e.g., Interview) as the destination.

Add the call
- Open Job settings → Recruitment pipeline.
- In the entry stage, click Add AI call.
- Check that the phone number is now required in the application form.
- Save the job settings.
You can edit or remove the call at any time with Edit AI call / Delete AI call.
If you delete it: “Candidates in this stage will no longer be able to receive an AI screening call.”
Configure the call (side panel)
Editing the call opens a side panel named after the stage, with three sections:
-
Things to validate — choose what the call should validate among Competencies, Hard facts, and Signals (the categories from your Role context). At least one category must stay active: “The AI call needs at least one thing to validate.” This choice determines the length and focus of the conversation.
-
Call settings — set the Call language (the options depend on the voice configured globally) and, if you want shorter calls, turn on “Stop the call when a knockout requirement is not met”. Use it only with clear required facts — it saves time for the candidate and for your team.
- Run test — try the call before publishing. Click Run agent, grant microphone permission, and listen for tone, language, and the order of the questions (states: Connecting, Test call connected, Test call ended). Adjust criteria or settings after hearing it — otherwise you’ll publish without knowing how the call sounds to candidates.
