This functionality enables you to display a QR code on a device (such as an iPad, laptop, or smartphone) at the entrance of your office. Your employees can then use the Factorial App to scan their QR code, and once they slide the clock-in button, the QR code will be displayed.

Where to find Time Tracking systems
- On your sidebar, go to Settings
- In Time, select Time tracking
- Open a Time tracking policy
- Scroll down until you find Time tracking system
To activate QR code Entrance app
You cannot activate the QR code Entrance app and the Geolocation at the same time.
- From the time tracking policy main page, enable Mobile clock in/out
- Activate Entrance app
- Click on Copy Entrance App URL
4. Paste the Entrance App URL on a device at the entrance of your office. Once the Entrance App URL has been copied, you will be able to paste it into your devices. Once done, your employees will be able to clock in/out with the QR code.
If the QR code page becomes unresponsive or needs to be refreshed, you can now reload the page directly without affecting its functionality. This ensures continuous and seamless operation.
For security reasons, this URL will automatically update every 30 seconds.
Generate a New QR Code Link
You can generate a new QR code link to replace the existing one. This is particularly useful if you suspect that the current link has been compromised or shared with unauthorized individuals. To generate a new link:
- Navigate to the QR code settings
- Click on the "Generate New Link" button
- This will invalidate the previous link and create a new, secure QR code for your employees to use
Steps to clock in/out using the QR code
- Open your Factorial app from your mobile
- Slide to clock in/clock out or clock out
- Scan the QR code from the left
