Do it with One: "Do I have any pending performance evaluations to complete?"
One, Factorial's AI agent (also called the AI assistant), can answer questions about performance reviews, competencies, feedback and incentive plans, and it can carry out a few actions for you, such as giving feedback or creating an incentive plan. One only reads and does what your own permissions in Factorial allow. This article lists what One can and can't do in each Performance area so you know what to ask.
Before you start
- An admin must give you the Use One permission in Settings > Permissions > One.
- You need access to the Performance area you ask about. For example, if you can't see Feedbacks in the Performance menu, One can't help you with feedback either.
- Asking One about competencies (definitions, levels, expected levels) and about incentive plans is for admins only.
- One Analytics (questions and dashboards over company-wide performance data) is for admins only.
Steps
Ask One a Performance question
- Open One from any page in Factorial.
- Type your question in your own words, for example "Do I have any pending performance evaluations to complete?".
- To point One at a specific person, type @ followed by the name and choose the person from the list.
- Read the answer. If One needs more detail, such as which review cycle or which visibility to use, it asks you a question with options to choose from.
- For actions that change data, such as giving or deleting feedback, One shows you a summary and waits for you to approve it before anything is saved.
Rules and behavior
- If you ask about data you can't see in the product, then One can't see it either and tells you it found nothing or that it's not in your access.
- If a question needs an action that changes data (give feedback, delete feedback, remove people from an incentive plan), then One asks for your approval before saving.
- If your company's plan doesn't include the area a question needs, then One tells you it isn't part of your plan instead of answering.
- If a review uses a 1–5 scale, then One shows scores on that scale, for example "4.2/5". One uses a 0–100 score only when it compares results across different reviews or scales.
- If you're not an admin and ask about competency definitions or incentive plans, then One can't answer.
