Workflows permissions

Explore how to effectively manage and configure permissions within workflows to enhance collaboration and security in your projects.

This article explains the permissions related to workflows in Factorial. Understanding how workflow permissions work is essential to ensure that the right people can create, edit, manage, and participate in automated processes within the platform.

Workflow permissions allow administrators to control who can configure workflows, who can be assigned as approvers, and who can view or manage workflow-related requests. Properly setting these permissions helps maintain data accuracy, security, and an efficient approval process across the organization.

Employees must be assigned to the corresponding permissions group for employee permissions to apply.

How to set up your Workflows permissions

  1. In your sidebar, go to Settings
  2. Click on Permissions
  3. Select the Workflows section
  4. Enable or disable permissions
  5. Click on Save changes

This permission does not allow you to select the scope; you cannot choose which users a person can perform an action on. It will be active for the whole company (inside this group of permissions).
