Products Update Page permissions control who can create, edit, or update product information in Factorial. These permissions ensure that sensitive product data, such as descriptions, pricing, and availability, is managed only by authorized users.
By assigning the right permissions, you can maintain data accuracy, prevent unauthorized changes, and ensure that updates are handled by the appropriate roles, such as product managers or administrators, while keeping the product catalog consistent and reliable.

Employees must be assigned to the corresponding permissions group for employee permissions to apply.
How to set up your products update page permissions
- In your sidebar, go to Settings
- Click on Permissions
- Select the products update page section
- Enable or disable permissions
- Click on Save changes

This permission does not allow you to select the scope; you cannot choose which users a person can perform an action on. It will be active for the whole company (inside this group of permissions).
