My goals widget on the Home page

The My goals widget on Home shows how one group of your individual goals is going: the group's overall progress, one bar per period for split goals, and the current status of each goal. You choose the group by period and frequency in the widget settings. By default it shows this year's yearly goals.

Before you start

  • The widget only shows individual goals: goals assigned to you alone. Team, company and other shared goals are not shown.
  • The widget appears only when you have individual goals that are active today.

Step by step

Read the widget

  1. Open Home.
  2. Find the My goals widget in the side column.
  3. The header shows the group's period and frequency (for example "2026 · Quarterly") and its overall progress percentage. For quarterly, half-yearly or monthly goals, it shows one bar per period with that period's progress.
  4. Below, up to 5 goals are listed. Each goal shows the status of its current period: Not started, On track, Achieved or Missed.
  5. Click a goal to open its detail page.
  6. If the group has more than 5 goals, click View N more (for example View 2 more) to open your goals in Performance > Goals. Clicking the My goals title opens the same page.

  1. On the My goals widget, open its menu and click Edit settings.
  2. Choose the period: This year, This half-year, This quarter or This month.

  4. Save. The widget shows the goals whose dates are exactly that period with that frequency.

Rules and behavior

  • If you have no individual goals active today, then the widget is hidden.
  • If no goals match the period and frequency you picked, then the widget shows "No goals for this period" and "Pick another period or frequency in the widget settings."
  • The period is relative to today. "This quarter" moves to the next quarter on its own when the quarter ends.
  • A goal matches only when its dates are exactly the chosen period. For example, a goal from 1 January to 31 December matches This year.
  • If some goals in the group have weights, then the overall progress is a weighted average. Example: three goals weighted 50%, 30% and 20% with progress 100%, 50% and 0% give an overall progress of 50 + 15 + 0 = 65%.
  • If no goal in the group has a weight, then the overall progress is the plain average of the goals' progress. Example: 100%, 50% and 0% give 50%.
  • The widget lists your individual goals and your individual sub-goals whose parent goal is not also yours alone. A sub-goal of your own goal is counted inside its parent.
  • The overall progress bars are always green. They show attainment. The status of each goal is shown by its own tag.
  • Every number in the widget is the same progress shown in Performance > Goals.

Limitations

  • You can't show collective goals (team, legal entity, job role, company or several people) in the widget.
  • You can't show goals with a custom date range in the widget. They never match a relative period.
  • You can't show more than one period and frequency group at a time. Use the goals card on your profile to see every active group.
  • You can't update progress from the widget. Open the goal and use Update progress.

Troubleshooting

  • Symptom: "I don't see the My goals widget." → Cause: You have no individual goals active today. → Fix: Check your cards at the top of Performance > Goals.
  • Symptom: "The widget says 'No goals for this period'." → Cause: None of your goals has exactly the period and frequency in the widget settings. → Fix: Use Edit settings to pick another period or frequency.
  • Symptom: "My team goal is missing from the widget." → Cause: The widget only shows goals assigned to you alone. → Fix: Click one of your cards at the top of Performance > Goals and look under Collective goals.

2. Why does the widget show only 5 goals?
The widget lists up to 5 goals. Click View N more to see the rest in Performance > Goals.

3. Can I see my quarterly goals instead of the yearly ones?
Yes. In the widget settings, choose This quarter and Quarterly.
