This article explains how to modify the total number of annual vacation days available to employees when the change applies from one year to another (for example, increasing from 22 days in 2025 to 24 days in 2026).
There is currently no option in the platform to manually change the total number of vacation days in a policy for years that have already been created. This type of change must be handled by Factorial Support.
When do you need to contact Support?
You need to open a ticket with Support when:
- Employees had a specific number of vacation days assigned by policy in a previous year (for example, 22 days in 2025).
- In the new year, you want that same policy to have more or fewer days (for example, 24 days in 2026).
- The year already exists, or vacation allocations have already been generated.
In these cases, the change requires a direct update in our internal database, which can only be done by the Support team
If you change it from the settings, it will be changed for the current year as well.
Open a support ticket to get help from our team. We’ll be happy to review your situation and guide you through the next steps.
