Your catalogue is the list of products you can order, and it is kept separately for each country. Use this article to add a country to your catalogue and to ask for a product that is missing.
Feature/Functionality
Overview
Factorial IT decides which products are available country by country. You cannot order for a country until it has been set up in your workspace settings.
Each country is independent. Adding one leaves the catalogue and settings of every other country untouched.
How to use
Add a country to your catalogue
You add countries one at a time:
- Go to Global purchasing > Settings.
- Click Add country and pick the country from the list.
- Set anything specific to that country, such as the carrier you prefer or tax settings.
- Save.
Do this for every country where you have staff or want to buy equipment.
Request a missing product
If a product is sold in your country but does not appear in your catalogue:
- Open the catalogue section in the console.
- Click Add at the top right.
- Enter the product details:
- Full product name and model number
- Manufacturer
- Technical specifications
- The country where you want it available
- Send the request.
The Factorial IT team checks the request and adds the product to the right country's catalogue.
Tips and Best Practices
- Set up countries before you need them. An employee cannot get equipment in a country that has not been added.
- Be precise in product requests. An exact model number saves a round of questions.
- Name the right country. A product request only applies to the country you choose.
Troubleshooting and FAQ
Troubleshooting
- A country you added still has no products you expected. Catalogues are per country. Request the missing items for that country.
- Your product request has not appeared yet. The Factorial IT team reviews each request before adding it. Contact support@factorial.it if you need it urgently.
FAQ
-
Does adding a new country change my existing catalogues?
No. Each country is managed on its own.
-
Can I request a product for several countries at once?
Each request names one country. Send a request for each country where you want the product.
-
What details does a product request need?
Full name and model number, manufacturer, technical specifications and the target country.
