Tips and best practices
- Check the Activity Log before reporting a discrepancy. If a leave or balance looks incorrect, review the recorded changes to understand what happened.
- Use the filters to narrow your search. Focus on leaves, adjustments, or policy changes instead of reviewing the entire history.
- Review policy assignments when investigating eligibility issues. An employee’s assigned policy may help explain differences in their Time Off balance or entitlements.
- Check the settings history after configuration changes. This can help you identify when a policy, absence type, or blocked period was modified.
- Remember that access depends on permissions. If you cannot access a policy or settings history, check whether you have Time Off admin permissions.
