Ask ONE about your onboardings

Discover tips to streamline your onboarding process and enhance team integration for a smoother start.

Table of Contents

One can help HR teams quickly understand what is happening across their ongoing onboardings. Instead of searching through the onboarding tracking board, you can ask One questions about new hires, tasks, phases, and progress and get the information you need.

Overview

One lets you ask questions about running onboardings in natural language. It can help you check the progress of new hires, identify incomplete or overdue tasks, understand who is blocking an onboarding, and review the phases included in an onboarding policy.

This is especially useful when you need a quick overview or want to check the status of a specific onboarding without manually searching through the tracking board.

How to use

  1. Open the Onboarding workflow
  2. Open One
  3. Ask a question about your ongoing onboardings using natural language
  4. One provides the relevant information based on your onboarding data
  5. Use the answer to follow up with the appropriate person or take the next action
  6. You can ask questions such as:
    • Who is currently onboarding, and which phase is each of them in?
    • Who hasn't completed "Fill in your personal information" yet?
    • Has David done his personal information task? When did he complete it?
    • Who is blocking Ashley's onboarding?
    • How many people have overdue onboarding tasks?
    • What's left for Michael, and when does his First day phase start?
    • What phases does our onboarding policy have?

If One does not provide the information you need, try rephrasing your question and include specific details, such as the new hire's name, task, or onboarding phase.

If you cannot find the onboarding information you are looking for, make sure you are asking about an ongoing onboarding and that the relevant onboarding information is available in Factorial.
